Accordingly, this study aims to: (1) analyze the core values of children’s character education embedded in the Qur’an; (2) examine the pedagogical methods of character education proposed by the Qur’an; and (3) articulate the relevance of Qur’anic character education for strengthening contemporary education in the digital era. This study employs a qualitative library research approach, using descriptive-analytical and thematic analysis of Qur’anic verses, classical and contemporary exegesis, and relevant scholarly literature. The findings reveal that Qur’anic character education is structured upon an integral and hierarchical value system, with tawḥīd as the foundational moral orientation, reinforced by moral conduct, worship practices, and social responsibility. Moreover, the Qur’an offers pedagogical methods such as role modeling, habituation, compassionate communication, and gradual instruction that are conceptually aligned with modern educational and developmental theories. Dalam konteks pendidikan, nilai-nilai Islam seperti kejujuran, keadilan, amanah, dan tanggung jawab dapat menjadi landasan yang kuat dalam membentuk karakter siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif. Dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai ini, sistem manajemen mutu pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada pencapaian akademik, tetapi juga pada pengembangan moral dan spiritual peserta didik. Hal ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya kompeten secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki akhlak yang baik dan mampu berkontribusi secara positif kepada masyarakat. Selain itu, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam manajemen mutu pendidikan juga dapat memperkuat identitas dan jati diri bangsa, serta menjawab tantangan globalisasi yang semakin kompleks. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengkaji dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen mutu yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Islam, guna mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan berkarakter. integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam manajemen mutu pendidikan, khususnya pada aspek perencanaan, peningkatan mutu, penjaminan mutu dan pengendalian mutu di lembaga pendidikan Islam. pengembangan model integrasi nilai-nilai islam dalam sistem manajemen mutu pendidikan berbasis nilai Islam yang relevan dengan tantangan global dan kebutuhan lokal.</p> <p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p> <p>The integration of Islamic values in the education quality management system is an important approach to improve the quality of education holistically. In the context of education, Islamic values such as honesty, justice, trustworthiness and responsibility can be a strong foundation in shaping students' characters and creating a positive learning environment. By integrating these values, the education quality management system focuses not only on academic achievement, but also on the moral and spiritual development of learners. This is expected to produce graduates who are not only intellectually competent, but also have good morals and are able to contribute positively to society. In addition, the integration of Islamic values in education quality management can also strengthen the nation's identity and identity, and answer the increasingly complex challenges of globalisation. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka terhadap literatur filsafat pendidikan Islam, epistemologi keilmuan, serta kajian pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, dengan fokus pada pemikiran M. Amin Abdullah dan Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. Analisis diarahkan pada problem dikotomi keilmuan sebagai warisan epistemologi kolonial, tantangan digitalisasi pendidikan yang cenderung instrumentalis, serta urgensi rekonstruksi epistemologi pembelajaran PAI yang berlandaskan worldview Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi agama, sains, dan teknologi dalam pembelajaran PAI menuntut landasan epistemologis holistik melalui pendekatan integrasi-interkoneksi keilmuan (Amin Abdullah) dan penguatan nilai adab serta Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan (Naquib al-Attas). Rekonstruksi ini diarahkan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran PAI yang tidak hanya adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi digital, tetapi juga mampu memperkuat dimensi spiritual, intelektual, dan moral peserta didik secara integral. Character education is an urgent need that must be prioritized by the government as we enter the era of globalization and information in various fields. SMP MBS Al Amin is a school under the auspices of Muhammadiyah, which integrates formal education with Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) education.</em></p> <p><em>This thesis aims to analyze several educational concepts at SMP MBS Al Amin, including: 1) How is the concept and implementation of Panca Jiwa used to realize the character of the nation at SMP MBS Al Amin? 2) What are the outcomes of implementing Panca Jiwa in realizing the character of the nation at SMP MBS Al Amin? 3) What are the implications of applying Panca Jiwa in realizing the character of the nation at SMP MBS Al Amin?</em></p> <p><em>The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, which focuses on studying the implementation and implications of Panca Jiwa in realizing character education at the school. Data collection methods in the field include observation, questionnaires, interviews, assessments/evaluations, and documentation.</em></p> <p><em>The results of the study indicate that: (1) The embodiment of Panca Jiwa, which represents the core values of life in Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, includes the spirit of sincerity, independence, simplicity, freedom, and Islamic brotherhood. The implementation at SMP MBS Al Amin differs from Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor due to factors such as environment, understanding, system, curriculum, educational management, and regional culture. (2) The Panca Jiwa culture at SMP MBS Al Amin is instilled through organizational activities, extracurricular activities, curriculum integration, and other activities at the school. which are carried out by students on a daily, weekly, monthly, and even yearly basis. In terms of curriculum integration, SMP MBS Al Amin collaborates the local content curriculum with the concept of Panca Jiwa. (3) The implications of applying Panca Jiwa at SMP MBS Al Amin influence the discipline of the school, as well as the students’ characteristics in general. Furthermore, the integration of Panca Jiwa into the local content subjects gives SMP MBS Al Amin a unique curriculum compared to other schools in Bojonegoro. The instilling of the Panca Jiwa spirit into both boarding school and extracurricular activities makes every breath feel like an act of worship, filled with educational values integrated with the national education goals, which aim to build national character. However, the effectiveness of PAI learning depends heavily on how teaching and learning activities are designed and implemented. This paper examines PAI teaching and learning activities from five main perspectives: rationality, PAI learning principles, student learning experiences, learning implementation, and evaluation. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach and a literature review, this study highlights the importance of rationalizing PAI objectives, implementing active and contextual learning principles, and developing learning experiences that address students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Furthermore, PAI learning must be implemented systematically and evaluated comprehensively to optimally achieve the goals of religious education.
