Marketing through social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp has not been fully optimized due to limited understanding of digital marketing management, particularly the use of websites as official marketing media. This community service activity aimed to provide training and mentoring for MSMEs KTH Permata members on the utilization of Google Sites as a digital marketing medium. The methods included observation to identify existing conditions and problems, discussions with partners to formulate solutions, documentation, implementation of Google Sites management training, and evaluation through questionnaires to measure improvements in participants’ skills. The results showed that the training and mentoring activities improved participants’ understanding and skills, with 80% of members successfully creating and publishing Google Sites websites independently, while 70% were able to manage and update product content on a sustainable basis. The outputs of this activity included the availability of an official marketing website for MSMEs KTH Permata featuring business profiles, product catalogs, and contact information, which contributed to expanding market reach and increasing product visibility. In conclusion, limited knowledge and skills were the main barriers to digital marketing adoption; however, the training and mentoring proved effective in strengthening MSME capacity to utilize Google Sites as a digital marketing tool.
Fredirikus Timo, Leonard Peter Gelu, Anggelina Delviana Klau Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Research Applications in Community Service https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/5872 Mon, 12 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Mentoring-Based Implementation of Accounting Information Systems for Enhancing MSMEs Financial Management in Magelang City, Indonesia https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/6295
F Mario Andaru, Sneha Chaurasiya, Fabio Bolanda Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Research Applications in Community Service https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/6295 Thu, 26 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Restorasi Agroekosistem Kopi Dan Pengembangan Agrowisata: Studi Kasus Dari Kabupaten Kalipuro, Banyuwangi Jawa Timur https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/6241
The purpose of this study was to explore the main aspects of coffee agroforestry restoration and agrotourism development. This study was conducted in Secang, Kalipuro Village in Banyuwangi Regency. This study shows that the restoration of degraded coffee agroforestry can be achieved by involving various potential local flora species found in the agroecosystems on the slopes of Mount Ijen. Two coffee species, Coffea canephora and Coffea liberica, require rejuvenation and population increase in coffee agro-ecosystems. Species with economic value, including Durian, Avocado, and Mangosteen, are two species desired by the community as part of coffee agroforestry restoration. Restored coffee plantations have the potential to become agro-tourism attractions by considering several aspects, including: (1) the authenticity of the structure and composition of the plantation, (2) the richness of flora and fauna as a resource and interpretation program, (3) connected with the local community, and basic tourism resources (i.e., accommodation, facilities).
Luchman Hakim, Dian Siswanto, Irfan Mustofa, Rita Parmawati, Husnul Khotimah, Brian Rahardi, Jehan Ramdani Hariyati, Danniary Ismail Faronny, Ryan Riyadun Najih, Titanio Auditya Pribadi Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Research Applications in Community Service https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/6241 Thu, 12 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Sekolah Berbasis Zero Waste: Pengolahan Sampah Organik menjadi Kompos untuk Mendukung Ekonomi Kreatif Berbasis Project P5 Kurikulum Merdeka https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/5859
Waste management in elementary schools remains a challenge, especially in schools that lack a structured waste management system. Initial conditions at SDN 3 Tumbang Tahai, Palangka Raya City, showed that waste had not been separated into organic and inorganic waste and was still managed by burning within the school premises. This community service activity aimed to improve organic waste management through an educational approach, infrastructure provision, application of appropriate technology, and integration into the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). Implementation methods included waste management outreach, teacher training in designing P5 projects, implementation of organic waste shredding machines, and mentoring and evaluation of program implementation. The results of the activity showed changes in waste management practices in schools, marked by the establishment of a waste sorting system, increased student understanding of waste types and processing, and the development of practices for processing organic waste into compost. Furthermore, teachers began integrating waste management into project-based learning, making learning more contextual. Conceptually, this activity resulted in a zero-waste school waste management model through the P5 project, which integrates environmental learning, waste processing technology support, and strengthening school program management.
Kharisma Nugraha Putra, Wahyu Nugroho, Agung Samudra, Fitria Wagati, Jane Arantika, Desy Fitriani, Siska Adelia, Teresya Wahyuningsih Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Research Applications in Community Service https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/5859 Mon, 16 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Creativity in Batik Painting on Wood with Cold Wax for the Anggana Kasih in Bandung https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/6377
POII (Persekutuan Oikumene Ibu-Ibu) Anggana Kasih is a community consisting of 60 women, either wives or staff members of a large telecommunications company on Jalan Japati no. 1 Bandung. They needed activities that could foster togetherness among members, so they chose batik making activities with environmentally friendly media on wood. The problem raised was how this community could empower their abilities through creative activities of cold wax batik during retirement so that it was hoped that it could also improve the family economy through creative activities. The purpose of this community service activity was to increase togetherness through painting activities on wood using environmentally friendly materials. The implementation method used the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) method. The results of the implementation of 40 participants who attended, succeeded in making and completing their painting activities very well. Indicators of success were examined from the science of fine arts, namely the aesthetic aspect involving the placement of visual objects, composition, and color selection. Participants learned the selection of visual objects of flora and fauna that would be implemented on wood media, participants learned the practice of creating color harmony so that their aesthetic abilities also increased. The main impact for partners is that families can increase togetherness, intimacy, be more open between members, and can increasingly improve their painting skills which can be used to improve the family's economy.
Ariesa Pandanwangi, Rosida Tiurma Manurung Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Research Applications in Community Service https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://journal.unugiri.ac.id/index.php/JaRCOMS/article/view/6377 Mon, 16 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000
