Optimization of Village Infrastructure, Education and Economy Through Sustainable Agricultural Development on Gadon Village, Blora Regency

Abstract

This community service program was conducted in Gadon Village, Cepu District, Blora Regency, which has significant agricultural potential but has not been optimally managed to support community welfare. This activity aimed to improve the quality of community life through the optimization of village potential in the fields of agriculture, social affairs, education, health, and local economic development. The program was implemented using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through the stages of asset identification, participatory planning, program implementation, and activity evaluation. The program took the form of agricultural training using herbs, the production of planting media, social outreach on healthy lifestyles through TOGA planting and gymnastics, financial literacy education, and character education, as well as PMK handling assistance on Jalan Desa. The target participants included farmers, SMEs, farmer groups, Integrated Healthcare Post cadres, and village government officials. The results of the activity showed an increase in community knowledge and participation in the utilization of local village assets in agriculture, health, education, and village economy. This program encouraged sustainable community empowerment through locally based productive practices and village resources.
