Author Guideline

General Requirements

Manuscript submission must be made through the online submission menu, or the submit manuscript menu. New authors must create an OJS account by registering as an Author on the REGISTER menu, and if you already have an OJS account, you can click the LOGIN menu

Submissions are made after preparing the manuscript according to the minimum standards below. Please read and follow the minimum standards of the script below. 

Minimum Standards for Manuscripts

Before submitting a manuscript, please read and meet the minimum standard requirements of the manuscript below:

  1. Manuscripts submitted to this journal have not been previously published, or are not being considered in other journals. (Do not send double).
  2. Manuscripts submitted can be in the form of results of studies (fields/literature), conceptual ideas, studies, application of theories, and criticisms in the social, humanities, and technology fields.
  3. The article format has complied with the ABATA Template (jurnal pendidikan islam anak usia dini).
  4. Articles must be under 25% checked by plagiarism turnitin software
  5. The article does not contain the results of plagiarism, falsification, and falsification of data.
  6. The author is responsible for the content of the manuscript. Correspondence regarding the manuscript will be addressed to the author by mentioning the institution, and the author's email address;
  7. Manuscripts will be assessed based on 3 components, namely content authenticity, degree of originality, content relevance and conformity with the journal's mission;
  8. The title of the manuscript must be written briefly, but informative enough to describe the content of the manuscript;
  9. Manuscripts are written in Indonesian. Manuscripts must be between 2500 and 5000 words in length using Microsoft Word program (.doc or .docx) on A4 size paper. Each page must be numbered. Pages must also use mirrored margins including top, bottom, right 2.5 cm, and left 3 cm. The usual line spacing for manuscripts is 1.5 except for abstracts and reference lists which use 1.0 spacing. Times New Roman must be used as 12pt font except abstract must be 10 and the title must be in capital letters with 14pt font size.
  10. Written manuscripts must contain an abstract in both Indonesian and English with a word count of 150 to 200 words containing the Introduction, research objectives and results. Keywords should be chosen wisely to describe the article content between 3 to 5 words.
  11. The structure of the article includes (a) title, (b) author's name (without academic degree), affiliation, and email, (c) abstract, (d) keywords, (e) introduction (background and library support ending with the purpose of or the scope of the article), (f) method, (g) main discussion, (h) conclusion, (i) reference (containing only reference sources), and (j) appendix (if any).
  12. Subsections are written in the same font without numbering: (a) First Subsection (Capital of Each Word, Bold, Left Align); (b) Second Subsection (Capital of Each Word, Italic-Bold, Left Align); (c) Third Subsection (Capital of Each Word, Left Align); (d) Fourth Subsection (Capital of Each Word, Italic, Left Align);
  13. References must include 15 literature published in the last 10 years. The newer the better. Primary sources such as research reports or scientific articles in scientific journals and/or magazines are preferred as references.
  14. References or citations use the middle-note reference technique based on the APA (American Psychological Association) 6th edition. To maintain consistency of citations, citations and reference lists we recommend using the Mendeley Reference Manager application.
  15. All manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously by expert editors (reviewers) who are appointed based on their expertise. Authors of articles will be given the opportunity to improve their manuscripts based on recommendations from reviewers or editors.
  16. Manuscripts that are not accepted will be archived by the administrator

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts must be prepared and are advised to attend following the structure:

The manuscript is written in Indonesian. Manuscripts must be between 2500 and 5000 words in length using Microsoft Word program (.doc or .docx) on A4 size paper. Each page must be numbered. Pages must also use mirrored margins including top, bottom, right 3 cm, and left 3.5 cm. The usual line spacing for manuscripts is 1.5 except for abstracts and reference lists which use 1.0 spacing. Times New Roman must use a 12pt font, except for the abstract 10pt and the title in capital letters with a font size of 14pt.

Written manuscripts must contain an abstract in both Indonesian and English with a word count of 150 to 200 words containing the introduction, methods, research objectives and results. Keywords should be chosen wisely to describe the article content between 3 to 5 words.

Article structure includes:

  1. a title
  2. Author Name (without academic degree), Affiliation, Country and Email,
  3. Abstract,
  4. Keywords,
  5. Introduction (background and literature support ends with the purpose or scope of the article),
  6. Method,
  7. Discussion,
  8. Conclusion
  9. References (contains reference sources only), and
  10. Attachments (if any).

References must include 15 literature published in the last 10 years. The newer the better. Primary sources such as research reports or scientific articles in scientific journals and/or magazines are preferred as references.

All manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously (double blind review) by a designated expert editor (reviewer) based on their expertise. Authors of articles will be given the opportunity to improve their manuscripts based on recommendations from reviewers or editors.

Manuscripts that are not accepted will be archived by the administrator

Every article submitted to ABATA : Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini, the initial stages of the manuscript will check the plagiarism screening using Plagiarism turnitin software by an editor. The level of tolerance of similarity should be below 25 percent. If more than 25 percent of the level of similarity, then the editor will reject submitted articles.
