Abstract

Transisi dari pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) menuju sekolah dasar merupakan fase penting dalam perkembangan anak karena melibatkan perubahan pada aspek akademik, sosial, dan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pandangan orang tua, bentuk keterlibatan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mendukung proses transisi anak ke sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Partisipan terdiri dari empat orang tua siswa kelas satu sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Blitar yang dipilih secara purposive dari sekolah negeri dan swasta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan observasi selama kegiatan Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik dengan mengacu pada teori sistem ekologi Bronfenbrenner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua umumnya mempercayai peran sekolah dalam mendukung adaptasi anak, namun masih terdapat kekhawatiran terkait kesiapan akademik terutama kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung. Keterlibatan orang tua terlihat melalui dukungan emosional, pendampingan belajar, serta komunikasi dengan sekolah, meskipun partisipasi ayah cenderung lebih rendah dibandingkan ibu. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan transisi anak tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kesiapan individu, tetapi juga oleh sinergi antara keluarga, sekolah, dan kebijakan pendidikan.
