Muhadharah sebagai media Katalis Integritas Santri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah Lasem Rembang

This study aims to examine muhadharah as a catalytic medium for developing students’ integrity at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah, Lasem, Rembang. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this research focuses on the role of muhadharah activities in shaping and strengthening students’ integrity values, such as honesty, responsibility, and discipline. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of two Head of the Islamic boarding school, three active students, and one community figure who understands the educational dynamics within the Islamic boarding school. The findings reveal that muhadharah serves not only as a platform for rhetorical training but also as a space for the internalization of moral and spiritual values that contribute to the formation of students’ personal integrity. Through this process, students are trained to speak confidently, think critically, take responsibility for their words, and respect time and their roles within the pesantren community. Muhadharah proves to be an effective medium for gradually cultivating a character of integrity in students’ daily lives.
