Abstract

Tolerance is an attitude of treating or showing respect for various forms of differences, whether in the form of opinions, viewpoints, beliefs, habits, or actions that do not always align with personal views. This attitude is very important because it is able to create harmonious relationships between individuals who have different backgrounds. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to instill the value of tolerance to the 10th grade students of MA MA'ARIF CEPOGO so that they can appreciate the diversity that exists in the school environment and society. This community service activity uses a service learning method through socialization and interactive discussions. This activity took place at MA MA'ARIF Cepogo with the aim of 10th grade students as participants. The activity process consists of planning, implementation, and assessment. In the planning stage, the community service team prepared materials related to tolerance and diversity and created evaluation tools in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. The implementation stage was held through material presentations, discussions, and question and answer sessions to increase students' understanding of the value of tolerance. Assessment was carried out by comparing the results of the pre-test held before the activity and the post-test given after the activity. The collected data was analyzed descriptively quantitatively by calculating the percentage increase in students' understanding and tolerance attitudes as a measure of the success of the community service activities.
