Jurnal Statistika dan Komputasi (STATKOM) is an open-access journal (e-journal) published by the Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri (UNUGIRI). STATKOM publishes the article based on research or equivalent to research results in Applied Statistics and Computation on various scopes related to Computational Statistics and Data Analysis. This journal is published twice a year (June and December) in Indonesian and English. It started to publish in June 2022 (Vol. 1 No. 1 June 2022), and each number contains five articles. STATKOM was registered with E-ISSN 2963-0398 (online media) and ISSN 2963-038X (printed) for publication in December 2022 (Vol. 1 No. 2 December 2022) and the subsequent publication. In early April 2023, STATKOM received Garuda indexation to fulfil the first requirement for Sinta indexation in the next few years. These five studies utilize statistical methods to support planning in transportation, agriculture, health, and regional development. Forecasting the number of passengers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport using a deseasonalized method helps manage the airport more efficiently. SARIMA is used to forecast the number of ship passengers at Balikpapan Port, supporting port planning. Comparing K-Medoids and K-Means algorithms in clustering sub-districts in Jember, based on rice and secondary crop production, is useful for agricultural policy. Mapping of the PIS PK program in Bondowoso using K-Medoids supports an equitable distribution of health services. Analysis of HDI in East Kalimantan with OLS and GWR provides a spatial picture of development inequality between regions.
