Jurnal Statistika dan Komputasi (STATKOM) is an open-access journal (e-journal) published by the Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri (UNUGIRI). STATKOM publishes the article based on research or equivalent to research results in Applied Statistics and Computation on various scopes related to Computational Statistics and Data Analysis. This journal is published twice a year (June and December) in Indonesian and English. It started to publish in June 2022 (Vol. 1 No. 1 June 2022), and each number contains five articles. STATKOM was registered with E-ISSN 2963-0398 (online media) and ISSN 2963-038X (printed) for publication in December 2022 (Vol. 1 No. 2 December 2022) and the subsequent publication. In early April 2023, STATKOM received Garuda indexation to fulfil the first requirement for Sinta indexation in the next few years. This edition of the STATKOM Journal features five research articles that apply modern statistical and computational methods to address challenges in disaster management, climate, finance, and healthcare. The studies include clustering flood-prone areas in Central Java using K-Medoids, forecasting rainfall in Semarang City with SARIMA, predicting the total assets of PT. BPD Kaltim Kaltara using Double Exponential Smoothing Brown, comparing K-Means and Fuzzy C-Means for optimizing tuberculosis management in Bojonegoro, and clustering hospitals based on the distribution of health workers using K-Means and K-Medoids. The diversity of topics and methods highlights the versatility of data analysis in tackling real-world problems, providing practical contributions for policymakers and field practitioners alike.
