Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kemampuan pukulan forehand dan backhand atlet di PTM Raja. Metode penelitiannya ini adalah kuantitatif. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah survei deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi subjek berjumlah 12 atlet. Menggunakan Instrumen tes praktek. Pengumpulan data mengunakan lembar penilaian kemampuan forehand dan backhand. Hasil penelitian tingkat kemampuan forehand dan backhand atlet berkriteria baik. Mendapatkan hasil 2,60 - 2,87 untuk atlet kadet dan 2,46 - 2,74 untuk atlet pemula. Pelatih perlu memperhatikan kondisi tubuh atlet saat melakukan gerakan yang melibatkan unsur fisiologis.
